It's almost here!!!!

OMGHHKP!!!!!!! I can't believe that in less than a week, I will be walking the streets of NYC!!!! We have been planning it for so long it is really hard to think it is finally time!!! As excited as I am, I am also really nervous. The whole point of this trip is to try to bring people of New York to Christ. This will be my first time on a real mission trip and really talking one on one with non-believers about the gospel. I have been hoping and praying that God will use me and everyone with me to help expand His Kingdom! I could always use some extra prayer for that, the saftey of our group, and for the weather!!! It is 43 degrees in Central Park right now, yikes!!! :) Not sure if i'm ready for that yet!!!

I don't know about yall but I am a HUGE Forever21-aholic :) I can't believe that where we will stay is like a few blocks away from the gigantic one in Times Square!!! Here is a pic of the entrance (gorgeous!!!) :)

Spontaneous me :)

Yo blog stalkers :) So yesterday mom told me that she was going to jax to get her hair cut. I was going back and forth whether or not I should get my hair cut. A few months ago, my best friend Abby (Read her blog btw!!! :) http://tickledpinkandfabulous.blogspot.com/ ) made a pact that we would grow out our hair because we loved the way it looked on others but had never done it ourselves. Well......I failed :) Haha while I was at my Mamama's hair salon, I got my hair cut in an angled bob :) I LOVE IT!!! :)

As I was getting it cut , I was texting abby and I told her I was getting my haircut :) This is our conversation:

Me: Well I have some bad news for u...i am breaking our long hair pact as we speak :) heeheehee:)
Abby: Ahhh!!!!! You getting a trim?
Me: Hahaha welllllls..i'm getting it cut :) It's going to be a little above my shoulders :)
Abby: Ahhh!Well it is your hair! Haha :) I'm sure it will look great :)
Me: Haha thanks :) Good, I thought you were gonna kill me :)
Abby: No, just hurt you...jk :)
Me: Well...atleast my hair will look cute for my funeral :) Bahaha :)

Books, books, and more books :) Plus NYC!!!! :)

As some of yall know, I have been a HUGE bookworm for as long as I can remember! Today, we had Clay writes and the prompt was to write about our favorite book and how it has impacted us. I actually had no trouble and right off the bat could say that my favorites are the Christy Miller series by Robin Jones Gunn! This series has definatly taught me about relationships with friends, guys, and most importantly, my Savior :) Here are what the books look like if you want to check them out ;)

...they have the college years :) All of these books are fantastic!!! :)

So I decided that if I was going to share about Christy Miller, I might as well make this a book post :) Sorry if this gets boring, like I said, I'm a major book worm ;) Lately, I have been reading the Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson. It is a really awesome series of 3 books that tells about 5 (later 7) kids who, after being hired as DHI's for Disney, actually cross over to the Parks during the night as they sleep and they have to defeat some of Disney's greatest villians! I actually finished book #3 today and I have been on my toes the entire series :) Definatly recommend it :)

Now that I have finished these books, I think I am going to finish the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows :) I have always been a big fan of the movies and I even got to go to Harry Potter World and Islands of Adventure a few weeks ago!!! (I will blog about that later ;) ) Well, I saw the first part of the movie when it came out in theaters and I just can't wait any longer to find out what happens!!! So I headed over to my public library and picked this up...Can't wait to start it tonight :)

Quick, before I go, I wanted to let yall know something really cool!!! In less than 20 days I am going to...NEW YORK CITY!!! I am going with a group from my church and I just can't wait!!! It will be a life changing experiance :)

AAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Ok so I have decided that I am going to commit to posting alot more often, at least once a week :) I know...for those of you who have followed my last blogs (I have tried to start like, 3? Oh geeze!!!) that I don't exactly keep up with them too well. I am going to really try this time!!! Lets see how it goes :)
